Directions: From 1-64, take exit 9 (IL-157) turn left (north) onto IL-157. Go .3mi to Bunkum Rd., there is a stoplight there. Turn left onto Bunkum Rd, go 1.2 miles and Kim's Canine Club is on the left just before you would go over I-255.

Weekday practice monitors are as follows:

Tuesdays 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Open Practice Vicki Wolff.

Thursdays: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Open Practice Fay Fults.

PLEASE NOTE: You must notify Vicki by 6 p.m. on Monday and Fay by 6 p.m. on Wednesday if you plan on attending practice the following day. If no one notifies the practice monitor (Vicki or Fay), practice will not be held.

Practice Etiquette... How to avoid those Practice Faux Pas

(1) Please come early to help set up.
(2) All dogs should be on lead except when running.
(3) Be ready to practice when it's your jump height.
(4) Limit your practice time each round to 5 minutes.
(5) Help set jump bars when you're not running your dog.
(6) No one should be using obstacles on the course if it is not actually his/her turn to run, including during course building and walk through.

Tues & Thur practices are 6-8 PM.

We have the building until 9 PM. If a member would like to volunteer to be practice monitor from 7:45 - 9 PM, the practice remain open until 9 p.m. These arrangements need to be made in advance.

Practice monitors will be posted on the website.
Tues & Thur practices will be drills with short sequences.
Doors will be open at 6.
On Tuesday, equipment basics will be held from 6 - 6:30.
On Tuesday, drills/Skills practice will be from 6:30 – 8:00.
On Thursdays, drills/skills practice will be from 6:00 – 8:00

Practice will begin once the equipment is set up. The more people there to help set up, the more quickly it will be set up. People are welcome to come, practice and leave anytime between 6 (6:30) and 8. Each practice round for a dog/handler team is limited to five minutes.

No breakdown of the course is required.

Weekend practices are from 9 AM - noon.

The practice monitor will be posted on the web site.
The practice monitor is responsible for setting up and and monitoring a full course indoors. Setup will begin at 9 a.m. Please be there no later than 9 a.m. to help set up the course. Members can leave at any time. No breakdown of the course is required. Each practice round for a dog is limited to five minutes.

Outdoor practice fields

Outdoor practice fields are available to GSLAC members at all times. There is no practice monitor or planned course. The equipment is always on the field. You are welcome to reset and tweak the course. Please be polite and work together with other GSLAC and Kim's Canine Club members that may be there. Each practice round for a dog is limited to five minutes.
